How much do veneers cost, what whitening costs and what bonding costs, read off the price lists US practices publish themselves

Porcelain veneers are published at $900 to $2,500 per tooth by the one US practice in this record that prints a veneer price list, an in-office whitening visit at $400 to $700 by the one that prints a whitening price, and bonding at $240 to $475 a tooth by a Nashville practice that itemises it by the kind of repair.

How to price elective dental work before anybody quotes you

  1. Ask for the fee, not the range. Most dental cost articles publish the trade's national band. Of the seven US practices read for this section, three publish a fee of their own for the treatment their page is about. Ask which one you are being shown.
  2. Ask what one tooth costs and how many teeth you need. Veneers, bonding and internal bleaching are all priced per tooth. A per-tooth figure and a treatment plan are two different numbers, and only the second is a bill.
  3. Ask which treatment the price is for. Bonding a chip and covering the whole front of a tooth are priced apart. Nations Dental Studio publishes $240 to $475 for the first and $660 to $1,015 for the second, on one page.
  4. Ask what the whitening figure includes. A-Dental Center publishes the chair visit, the take-home trays and the two combined as three prices, $400 to $700, $300 to $500 and $600 to $1,000. A single number quoted without which one it is cannot be compared.
  5. Price the country separately for veneers. Two Istanbul clinics in this record publish $200 to $350 per tooth. That is a real published gap against the US band and it is a price comparison, not a recommendation.

What each treatment is published at

Veneers: Smile Lounge in Texas publishes $900 to $2,500 a tooth for porcelain, $250 to $1,500 for composite and $800 to $2,000 for prepless. Nations Dental Studio publishes a composite veneer at $660 to $1,015.

Whitening: A-Dental Center publishes $400 to $700 for an in-office visit, $300 to $500 for custom take-home trays, $600 to $1,000 for the two combined and $300 to $600 per tooth for internal bleaching.

Bonding: Nations Dental Studio publishes $240 to $475 a tooth, Tolley Dental $300 to $600 in the Winchester area, and Vegas Smile Suite a starting fee of $300.

Bonding is the treatment practices are willing to price

Three of three practices read for bonding publish their own per-tooth fee. One of four read for whitening does, and one of three read for veneers does. That is the clearest pattern in this section and it is worth knowing before you start calling offices.

The likely reason is scope. A bonded chip is one appointment on one tooth, so a practice can name a number without seeing you. A smile in veneers is a plan, and a plan is what a consultation is for.

Where nobody publishes a figure, this record says so

Riccobene Associates, My Dental Touch Studio and Charming Smiles of Ocoee all publish whitening cost articles and none prints its own fee. Charming Smiles publishes the fullest table read here and every figure in it is a national average credited to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Long Beach Dental does the same for veneers: $900 to $2,500 a tooth as the national band, itemised consultation and lab fees around it, and no fee of its own anywhere on the page.

Those are recorded as published-nothing rather than filled in. A practice that prints no price is written down as printing none, which is the only way a price record stays worth reading.

What this section does not do

It states no clinical claim. It does not say whether veneers, bonding or whitening suits any particular tooth, how long any of them lasts, or what any of them does to enamel. Those are questions for a dentist who has looked in your mouth.

It does not price shelf products. Whitening strips, pens and toothpastes are a shopping decision and there is no page for them here.

No. It publishes what named practices print for veneers, whitening and bonding and the date each was read. It makes no clinical claim, recommends no treatment, and does not say what any plan will pay.
